Barbara Clark

The Movie at the Back of My Mind

“Included in this book are poems that are part of a long body of work dealing with the history of our wars-our past two centuries of conflicts which we joined or created. This is part of our ghostly archaeology and she questions how we can undo the eruptive violence with which we seem doomed to live. Perhaps poetry may help the living by undoing those future deaths to come and perhaps love will be heard and not lost.”  ~ Barbara Clark

Elaina Delehant

Elaina Delehant is a New York City–based artist handcrafting upcycled, painted water bottle jewelry, and sculptural NYC-sourced beach seashell trinket dishes, as well as other functional art pieces.  Her practice rooted in sustainable material transformation using antique silk kimonos, responsibly sourced, hand-gathered seashells, recycled water bottles, paint and ink techniques, hand-painted paper, found objects, and her original photography.

Marie Christine Katz

“Works in Progress” ~  a workshop

Bring a fabric item to up-cycle!

“As an interactive performance workshop, I guide participants in repairing, up-cycling, and transforming the damaged or incomplete item(s) they bring, turning those items into new wearable art creations and rendering them usable again. This workshop also fosters storytelling and exchange of ideas relating to our collective and individual actions for the planet's well-being.

You can commission this project. I will tailor it to specific requests or conduct it as a series of workshops for your business or personal events.

Works in Progress add meaning to objects, showing life cycles rather than discarding/replacing, and challenge us to push past traditional utility.”

Nora

“Smoking, Who?

~ To Quit Smoking, Belittle Smoking”

Name your price for this guide on quitting smoking and vaping; so on point, that even the editor unexpectedly quit cigarettes while correcting the grammar. Not sure who’ll appreciate it? The answer will reveal itself. Until then, as New Year’s resolutions season kicks in, why not get it anyways? The book will come handy soon, to a relative, a friend, to yourself, or perhaps to someone you haven’t even met yet!

Or just play the pay-it-forward game, by gifting it to at least one stranger who struggles; find them on an online channel (e.g. Facebook, Discord, Reddit, TikTok, Telegram). You could be the confirmation they were looking for. Let’s be each other’s wink from the Universe that good things are possible!

CHERYL WU

"Transformations" is a lenticular art series by cheryl wu that explores the human capacity for transformative change, especially in the face of extreme hardship. This series highlights three transformative phenomena, from the scientific to the mythical: caterpillar to butterfly, earth's mantle and diamonds, and fire to phoenix. Through shifting optics, these works invite viewers to reflect on moments in their own lives when they have endured intense pressure (like diamonds), been under fire (like the phoenix), or stuck in utter darkness (like in a chrysalis) only to emerge beautiful, sparkling, and reborn.

For this holiday season, 5petals Art.Studio is releasing a limited number of mini lenticular prints featuring all three pieces. They are available individually or as a set. For inquiries, please email
